It’s great to have art supplies lying around especially if you’re home, not in your studio! I used to have a studio in my basement, and I would keep going down at night just to look at my painting and possibly paint on it a bit. But now that I have a studio outside of my home, I think it’s important to have some pencils, pens, erasers, and some paper. I’m suggesting drawing on real paper with a real pen. l enjoy using a pen that is water-soluble. It’s really fun to work with and often surprises me with the result. The unknown result of the medium really makes me happy. The images below are made with my tradio sketch pen and a bit of water painted on with a portable watercolor brush.
